From Adversity to Leadership
**Resilience is not built when life is easy. It is forged through adversity.** As a **Leadership Keynote Speaker, U.S. Army Veteran, and Resilience Speaker**, Jackson Reid brings a powerful personal story of survival, leadership under pressure, and overcoming adversity to audiences across the country.
Growing up as the middle of three boys, Jackson experienced years of physical and emotional abuse and was repeatedly told that he would never amount to anything. Rather than allowing those words to determine his future, he turned adversity into motivation. He pursued education, earned a degree in **Electrical and Electronics Engineering**, built a career in engineering, and ultimately answered a greater call to serve his country as a **United States Army Ranger**.
During a military parachute operation, Jackson's parachute collapsed, sending him nearly 100 feet to the ground. The catastrophic accident began a long journey of physical recovery that would eventually include **more than 20 surgeries** and multiple life-threatening medical complications. But some of his greatest battles weren't physical. His experiences taught him firsthand about **resilience, mental toughness, perseverance, and the extraordinary demands of leading yourself when circumstances seem impossible**.
Yet adversity never became Jackson's identity. Through **discipline, faith, determination, and an unwavering sense of purpose**, he continued rebuilding his life. He would later survive additional life-threatening experiences, including a near-fatal automobile accident and a lightning strike—each reinforcing a lesson that now stands at the center of his message: **we cannot always control what happens to us, but we can decide how we respond when pressure, uncertainty, and adversity arrive.**
Today, Jackson transforms those hard-earned lessons into powerful **leadership keynote presentations, resilience keynotes, corporate leadership programs, and veteran-led leadership training**. His message goes beyond motivation. He teaches audiences practical principles for **leading under pressure, building resilient teams, overcoming adversity, developing mental toughness, and making stronger decisions when the stakes are high**.
As a **Veteran Keynote Speaker and Leadership Under Pressure Speaker**, Jackson brings audiences lessons forged through military service, engineering, personal adversity, and decades of overcoming circumstances that could have ended his journey. His presentations are not built solely on theory—they are built on experience.
His mission is simple: **help leaders and organizations discover the resilience within themselves, lead courageously through adversity, and understand that difficult circumstances do not have to determine their future.**
That mission became **The Unbreakable Nation**—a movement built around one powerful belief:
**Pressure may test you. Adversity may challenge you. But neither has to define you. You can rise. You can lead. You can become UNBREAKABLE.**
