From Adversity to Leadership
Strength grows out of real hardship, and my journey proves it. Growing up, I was the middle of three boys in a home where mental and physical abuse was a daily reality. I heard the message that I would never amount to anything, yet I refused to let those words define my future. Instead, I poured myself into education and earned a degree in Electronics Engineering, stepping into a promising career before feeling the call to serve something greater as a United States Army Ranger.
During a combat operation, my parachute collapsed, and I plummeted nearly 100 feet onto unforgiving ground. That single moment forced me to dig deeper than I thought possible, eventually surviving 22 surgeries and three clinical deaths on the operating table. The physical pain left its mark, but the battles with depression, anxiety, and PTSD tested my spirit even further. Still, adversity would not become my identity.
Discipline, faith, and relentless purpose led me to rebuild. Surviving a near-fatal car crash just before neck surgery and being struck by lightning showed me how fragile and precious life really is. What began as a fight for survival became a calling - to lift others who are facing dark and demanding moments. Every keynote and workshop comes packed with lessons learned the hard way - not theory, but hard-won strength. My mission is simple: help every person discover resilience they may not know they have, and prove that anyone can rise above their circumstances. This is why The Unbreakable Nation was born.
